Sales Tip #5: Send an endorsement to your email list.
If you have a newsletter, ezine, or a customer
email/database list, it can be a very powerful way to promote my
The Stop SUGAR SHOCK! Diet Seminar™. This is a way to really make big
referral fees.
For example, you could write the following to your customer
database: “Thank you for purchasing (insert your product here)
not too long ago. We appreciate your business. I am emailing you
for two reasons. The first is to thank you for your business and
the second is to mention something that we thought would be of
interest to you . . ." (at this point you put in your
recommendation).
If you have an electronic newsletter or magazine (ezine), you
could include a special mailing to your list. You could tell
your readers that you’re emailing them separately from the
regular ezine because you’ve found something on the Internet
that is worth mentioning and you wanted to bring it to their
attention. (Then insert a recommendation like the one above.)
This approach will, by far, pull in the best response,
because it is a personal note separate from the standard
newsletter, and it will demand attention and urgency.
If you use autoresponders: For those of you
who don't know, an autoresponder automatically sends an email
message to whoever you want it sent to and when you want it
sent. Autoresponders are great for allowing people to get your
content without your direct input. You set it up once and they
can access the information anytime. You can put your short
recommendations in along with the information that’s already
going out on the autoresponder. Some people get 2 or 300
requests a day for free things like articles, newsletters, tip
sheets etc. You could make a lot of money just by sending a
personal recommendation and link along with each automatic
response. All you have to do is take a minute to add the
recommendation and link to your materials and it goes out
automatically around the clock, day in and day out, year in and
year out with no other work on your part. (Don't you
love to make money while you're sleeping?)
Sales Tip #6: Reprint my free articles at your website.
Reprint one of my free articles under the "Free Articles"
button at your website. One of my more popular articles right
now is “7 Tips to Squash Your Sugar Habit.” Be sure to replace
my own links with your affiliate links so you earn the
commission.

Sales Tip #7: Mention my program on your blog.
If you blog, mention my program when you post, and link back
to my website. In fact, feel free to excerpt tips you see in my
ezine for your blog. And sometimes, you can lift the entire
sales pitch from my ezine, just as I have written it. Be sure to
use your own affiliate link. Blogs provide tremendous
opportunity for you to pitch my program, and your visitors will
thank you.
Sales Tip #8: Add me to your
"Favorite Links" page.
When you link to
www.SugarShock.com/break_free.html on your "Favorite Links" page, be
sure to use your affiliate link.
Sales Tip #9: Mention my program if you're a speaker.
If you speak in front of groups, you my find many occasions
to mention my website. The most effective way is to tell the
audience how they will benefit from my information (they could
stop gaining weight, increase energy, get along better with
loved ones, etc.). You could even write the link on a flipchart,
overhead, or put it in a PowerPoint slide. Give the audience a
chance to write it down. Not only is this a "personal
recommendation," but giving it "in person" makes an even greater
impact than emailing it to them. A great way to make the link
handy is to give them a link to a downloadable handout you are
providing them. That way they can click on your affiliate link
to my website without retyping it. Make sure you put your
affiliate link and recommendation in your handout materials if
you use them (and most of the time you should). This way there
is no chance that the link will be copied incorrectly.
Sales Tip #10: Slip a flyer inside a product package.
Print an inexpensive insert to put in the package whenever
you ship a product to one of your customers. This is a very
effective way to put your personal recommendation in front of
people who already are buying from you. It could be part of a
"Thank You" note for purchasing. You could say something like:
"Thanks so much for purchasing our new and improved [widget].
Since we always like to give extra value to our customers, we
recommend that you visit a fantastic site we discovered on the
Internet to help you kick sweets and potentially improve your
health, energy and concentration. (Then put an appropriate blurb
about the kick-sugar program and the link.)
You don't have to use the exact thank-you note above, but
it's a good way to lead in to your personal recommendation. And
the best part is this – doing this only costs you pennies. The
customer has already purchased and probably paid the shipping,
so it's a much better deal than doing a separate mailing that,
comparatively, would cost a fortune.
Sales Tip #11: Trade articles with ezine publishers.
If you have a newsletter or ezine, trade ads with other
newsletter or ezine publishers, or better yet, trade article
space. Many times the classified ads are never even seen by
people because they mentally tune them out as they read through
a newsletter. Articles, however, get a much higher attention
level, and they also give you more space to make your
recommendation.
Don't get me wrong. If someone wants to trade ads, go for it.
You have nothing to lose, but if you get a chance at article
space, take that first. You might want to write several
different articles. Some newsletters will want higher content
and not much of a pitch and others don't care how blatant you
pitch their readers. Have several articles ready to go if you
plan on using this idea and let the newsletter publishers pick
which one they like. Send them the conservative one first so you
don't scare them off from making a deal.
Sales Tip #12: Lead your customers to my sales page.
One of the easiest things you can do is use your
affiliate link to lead your customers to my sales page at

Sales Tip #13: Use audio testimonials at your website.
A written testimonial from you is great. But if you can pair
a written testimonial with an identical audio testimonial, and
include a photo of yourself, your customers not only see your
smiling face but they can hear the enthusiasm in your voice,
which just might convince them to click through to sign up for
this kick-sugar program. I highly recommend an excellent audio

Sales Tip #14: Include your affiliate URL in your info
products.
Whenever you provide electronic special reports, transcripts
or ebooks, you can promote products for this kick-sugar program

Sales Tip #15: Buy pay-per-click advertising.
Ad programs sponsored by companies such as Google and Yahoo!
let you bid on keywords and create little ads that pop up on the
screen when somebody searches for that same keyword. You pay so

Sales Tip #16: Use my link on your "My Favorite Vendors"
page.
I'm a loyal customer of many of the people whose affiliate
programs I belong to. That's because I love their products and
services. So I'm creating a "My Favorite Vendors Page" telling
my customers where they can find some of the same products and
services I use. The page will, of course, include the affiliate
links that those programs assigned to me. You can do the same.
Always test your affiliate link first to make sure it works
before giving it to someone.
Sales Tip #17: Friends and Family.
Spread the word about this kick-sugar program to friends
frustrated because they're not losing weight. Or you can spread
the word at family events or work parties. You may choose to
bring a small slip of paper with a copy of your affiliate link
on it or you can just e-mail them your link when you get home.
Bear in mind I recommend a "soft sell" so I recommend that you
only approach people when they appear to be interested in this.

"inappropriate" newsgroups will not be tolerated. It is against
your affiliate agreement to advertise my website via unsolicited
email. Some people think that affiliate "Spam" email originated
from me, damaging my reputation and causing me many
administrative problems. DO NOT send unsolicited email to
promote me, or you will be in violation of your affiliate
agreement and your account will be terminated, forfeiting all
outstanding referral fees. Your cooperation and understanding is
appreciated.
However, do not get this confused with PROPER WAYS to promote
my products. Please recommend the kick-sugar program in your
autoresponders, in a personal email to your clientele base, your
lead lists, people that contact you, people you stay in touch
with, a newsletter list, at your website, in your blog, even in
appropriate email discussion lists, etc. This is not spamming.
